This is a secure solution to simple entry. When unlocked it is a standard push button, allowing anyone to open the vinyl gate with the simple push of a button. But simply turn the key on the push button and disable the entry through the device; it's great for when homeowners are away, sleeping, or on vacation, etc.
The wireless aspect is both convenient and secure. No one likes running wire; it costs money, takes time, can be damaged during landscaping maintenance, and is another entry point for a power surge to damage the control board. This unit requires no wire because it transmits through radio signals to the Estate Swing Vinyl Gate Opener (in the same manner as remotes) to open the gate.
Wireless design also adds security. With a wired entry device, if the wire can be cut so the two leads can be connected to simulate the entry device closing the circuit, which will open the gate. A wireless device cannot be compromised in this manner.

Trees and obstacles between the remote and the antenna can interfere with transmission and weaken the signal. Cell towers, power lines and airports can also really disrupt the signal.

Up to 40'.
5. Can I use this push button with any gate opener?
No; because it is a specific frequency, it can only be used with Estate Swing Gate Openers.
