The Wireless Basic Keypad is a convenient means of securing a property. This model is available with the stand or keypad only (select option above). It is fully wireless with the Estate Swing Vinyl Gate Opener series for up to 40' away from the receiver, depending on conditions. If there is a great deal of radio interference or obstructions on the property, the keypad can be wired to the gate opener with 16-22 gauge wire.
The Wireless Basic Keypad holds up to 60 individually editable codes. Keep codes for immediate family members confidential while retaining the freedom to create and erase codes for friends, distant relatives, dog walkers, house sitters, delivery personnel, or a number of other uses.
Those without codes will be deterred from tampering with the keypad by a temporary security shutdown when a string of incorrect codes are entered. Plus, the heavy-duty frame is made from durable, waterproof vulcanized rubber and will keep the digital keypad functioning for years to come. The brushed stainless steel facing not only protects the unit, but also gives it a stylish appearance. The stand (optional; select above) is constructed of aluminum and is precisely hand-welded to place the keypad or intercom in the perfect location and angle.

1. What conditions would prevent this from working?
Trees and obstacles between the remote and the antenna will interfere with reception and weaken the signal. Cell towers, power lines and airports can also really disrupt the transmitting.
2. Are the codes easy to change, add, or take away?
Yes, the codes are programmable by the buttons of the keypad; there is no need to open the keypad.
3. Is this product easy to install by myself?
It is made to be the optimal DIY product: as easy as hanging a picture for mounting and easier than programming an alarm clock.

5. If you have a lot of codes, isn't it easy for someone to figure them out?
There are thousands of possible 4 digit combinations. The fact of the matter is criminals go after the easy targets a keypad secured entrance will be enough to tell them to move along most of the time. Additionally, the temporary security shutdown will prevent criminals from trying multiple codes until they get the right one.
